#Splurge: Chanel’s Limited Edition Lambskin Scarf Flap Bag

Isn’t summer the perfect time to shop? There’s just something about the warm weather that makes me want to experiment with my wardrobe and stock up on eye-catching accessories. And the one piece I can’t seem to get enough of whenever I’m on a shopping excursion? Handbags. Why? Because, regardless of the size of the bag, you can make the boldest of statements just by incorporating one into your look.

So it’s only right that my current fashion obsession is the Chanel Limited Edition Lambskin Scarf Flap Bag. What makes this particular bag so great, you may ask? First seen on Chanel‘s ready-to-wear runway in 2011, the intricate details really take this timeless bag to the next level and the multitude of colors work perfectly for giving your outfit a full on summer makeover. And I, for one, have come to learn that there’s nothing better than having one staple piece that transitions from year to year and still looks fresh. I absolutely love it!

While the handbag is definitely a splurge item, starting at $2,000, you get more than enough bang for your buck with this vibrant design. With hues of red, orange, pink, and white woven throughout the black bag, it blends classic style with fun and edgy femininity in a subtle way. I can see celebrities who love to have fun with color, like Solange Knowles and Kerry Washington for instance, rocking this bag with their chic ensembles this season.

If you like what you see and have a few (more like a lot) pennies saved up, shop the bag here.

Would you wear this handbag? Which summer accessory will you be breaking the bank on this season? I’m dying to hear your thoughts!

Stay Stylish,

Briea Curington
