Best Dressed at the 2016 #GoldenGlobes: Lady Gaga, Regina King and More!

Fashionistas,

It’s the most wonderful time of the year: awards season! Aside from seeing the best of the best recognized for their work in television and film, tonight’s Golden Globe Awards is sure to deliver epic red carpet moments with a parade of breathtaking gowns and fabulous hair and makeup looks. I’m also looking forward to seeing another Emmys-esque #BlackGirlsRock moment, as Taraji P. Henson, Viola DavisUzo Aduba and Regina King are all competing for the gold tonight.

I cannot wait! Let’s get into tonight’s best looks!

Jennifer Lawrence kept things simple in a red Dior dress with an embellished choker. The sliver of skin peeking through complements the regal hair nicely. Love!

Taraji-P-Henson-Stella-McCartney-Golden-Globes-Fashion-OnGiselleAve

Taraji P. Henson glowed in a white Stella McCartney gown. She finished the look with a messy bob and sultry smokey eye.  Although I wish she would have taken a risk and rocked a pop of color, she’s still glam!

Jennifer-Lopez-Giambattista-Valli-Golden-Globes-Fashion-OnGiselleAve

Queen! Jennifer Lopez was one of my favorite looks of the night. I love the mustard yellow color and flattering silhouette of her Giambattista Valli gown. The singer and actress went for a dark lip and dazzling jewels to complete her look. Just epic slayage.

Lady-Gaga-Versace-Golden-Globes-Fashion-OnGiselleAve

Let me just say that I am such a fan of Lady Gaga‘s glam transformation and tonight was no exception. The blonde beauty radiated old Hollywood glamour in a form-fitting black Versace gown. Gorgeous!

Gina-Rodriguez-Zac-Posen-Golden-Globes-Fashion-OnGiselleAve

Gina Rodriguez looked like a pretty princess in an off-the-shoulder sapphire Zac Posen ballgown. I love how she kept her look understated but still looks ultra glamorous. And her makeup? Flaw-free, okay?!

Jaimie-Alexander-Genny-Golden-Globes-Fashion-OnGiselleAve

Jaimie Alexander opted for an emerald green and black geometric print Genny gown with a deep V neckline. The “Blindspot” star kept her hair pulled back and served killer glam with a smokey eye and fresh face combo. I’m so here for the matching earrings.

Brie-Larson-Calvin-Klein-Collection-Golden-Globes-Fashion-OnGiselleAve

I am obsessed with Brie Larson in this metallic Calvin Klein Collection gown. I love how she teased some skin with sleek side cut-outs and kept the rest of her look understated. Flawless! And we can talk about that body? Goals.

Viola-Davis-Marchesa-Golden-Globes-Fashion-OnGiselleAve

Come thru, Annalise! Viola Davis showed up looking like a winner in an embellished navy Marchesa gown. The gown featured a deep V neckline and sheer billowing sleeves. I need whatever moisturizer she uses because she’s beyond radiant!

Kate-Bosworth-Dolce-and-Gabbana-Golden-Globes-Fashion-OnGiselleAve

Kate Bosworth won the night in a sparkly sequin floor-length Dolce and Gabbana gown in shades of pink. Look at that bone structure! Love how she kept her makeup fresh. So glam!

Jada-Pinkett-Smith-Versace-Golden-Globes-Fashion-OnGiselleAve

Jada Pinkett Smith went with a simple silhouette in a Versace gown complete with ruffled accents. I love this beautiful shade of green. And let’s get into her short cut. Beautiful!

Rachel-McAdams-Golden-Globes-Fashion-OnGiselleAve

Finally vibrant prints! Rachel McAdams made such a statement in a printed green and pink gown. The actress pulled her hair back into a loose bun. And I’m here for her matching lip.

Regina-King-Golden-Globes-Fashion-OnGiselleAve

Yasss!  When I tell you I literally screamed when I saw Regina King sashay across my screen in this gold sequined gown. And the cape? Regina came to slay!

Who did you love on the red carpet? Let me know in the comments!

Stay Stylish,

Briea L. Curington
