Get Your Life: All The #BlackGirlMagic Moments From Coachella Weekend 1

Am I the only one who desperately wishes I were in California right now? Every April comes around and I’m stuck living vicariously through my Instagram feed instead of living it up at Coachella. #WhatIsLife?

With the start of summer festival season officially kicking off this past weekend, Coachella seems to get grander and grander each year. From the surprise performances to the out of this world fashion, it’s quite the spectacle. But what I love most is seeing some of our favorite black girls who rock shutting it down as only we can.

Check out all the fab moments you may have missed from the first weekend of the festival:

What would Coachella weekend be without a swoon-worthy look from the fashion goddess herself, Rihanna? Rih hit up the festival in a crystal embroidered jumpsuit from Gucci‘s Fall 2017 collection, layered underneath a Gucci tank and denim cut-offs. She also threw a pair of her Fenty x Puma platform sneakers into the mix. Slay!

What do you do when you and all your top model girls are in the same place, at the same time? Give the lessors life, of course! Imaan Hamman posed for a glam shot with fellow models Grace Mahary, Jourdan Dunn and Melodie Monrose to name a few. Legs and beauty for days. I’m here for it.

Speaking of Imaan, she kept the slayage going by putting her flawless, sunkissed skin on display in a plunging top paired with high-waist denim. Plus, her soft waves are everything.

When effortless meets cool. Jasmine Tookes attended the Victoria’s Secret Angels Celebrate the Sexy Little Things Launch in a sheer lace top and denim shorts. A casual pair of Converse sneakers finished the ensemble off. I love that she’s serving in a look that’s practical and on-trend.

Another model we can’t get enough of, Joan Smalls bared her toned stomach in a lace-hemmed crop top matched with distressed denim. But let’s get into the real show-stopper: her ombre pink hair. Gorg!

Like something out of a classic 90s R&B video, Sofia Richie wore wide-legged red trousers, a bikini top and oversized jacket to the Revolve festival. I’m obsessing over her shades and little Louis Vuitton bag.

Chanel Iman gave me festival chic realness in an off-the-shoulder crochet dress and black combat boots. She looks like she’s having the time of her life and I’m getting serious FOMO. Le sigh.

Black sisterhood is real. Yara Shahidi and Aja Noami King share laughs at the CFDA Coachella brunch. I love that they are both wearing white pieces and colorful open-toed mules. Friends who slay together…

Doesn’t it look like there is a permanent halo around Solange at all times? She looked comfy chic at the Levis Coachella brunch in patchwork denim and a one-shoulder blouse. An angel indeed.

Cipriana Quann with big hair, don’t care vibes. Speechless.

Jourdan Dunn and Sigail Currie are proof that girls just wanna have fun. Oh, and that with a pair of cutoff shorts and a see-through dress, you can conquer any event.

Sometimes laying next to your bestie in a grassy field is all you need. Models Melodie Monrose and Grace Mahary are bff goals in matching white tops and flowing hair.

These ladies are giving me carefree black girl vibes and I’m loving it! What were your favorite looks from Coachella weekend? Who could you not get enough of? Share your thoughts below!
