I must personally inform you, that I’m a huge Missy fan. I’m a dancer at heart, so I used to love making up original routines to all of her music when I was on the dance and cheerleading team growing up. #Nostalgia The thing I love about Missy is her unique, unapologetic approach to celebrating who she is and using her art form of music and dance to express herself. She is the original, original and always inspired me to embrace the corky, creative black girl that I am.
Missy broke the internet just last week after releasing her first EP in 14 years, titled “ICONOLOGY” and I must admit, this album is also a classic Missy release.
Her hit single “Throw It Back,” is a BOP, and so is the video! Shoutout to Dancer & Choreographer legend, Sean Bankhead, for the creative dance & direction in this video!
