Making my way downtown,
Feeling good,
Skin is brown, yeah.

March 1st, 2020, Atlanta, GA / Giselle Ave. Media — Yesterday was an adventurous Saturday afternoon well spent! The day started with me checking Atlanta’s unpredictable weather to decide which cozy look I’d rock for the day. Forecast says? High of 73, low of 27… and it feels like 49 degrees?! Since I love coats, I vowed to myself to NEVER leave the house cold. Not to mention, it’s been SUPER windy in Atlanta lately, so I’m totally wearing my favorite Dusky Green Down Jacket from H&M!

Since my hubby and I call downtown home, we’re always prepared for random street closings, especially on the weekend. Turns out, yesterday was also the U.S. Olympic Team Trials Marathon, where women from all over the nation came out to secure their chance at running in the 2020 Olympics!

The marathon took place all over Downtown Atlanta, including right outside of our loft! No cars were allowed to leave or come into downtown, which left us in the middle of the race, and also wondering how we were going to get to lunch, in Buckhead.
Marta is Smarta
Our solution? Marta is Smarta. We ended up taking the Marta Train from our location, Atlanta’s Five Points Station, and rode it all the way to Buckhead!

We finally made it to our final destination: Blue Moon Pizza, in Buckhead. Trust me, it was worth the adventure! It’s the best pizza in Atlanta, and I know my pizza. If you’re in the area, try the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and thank me later. After enjoying our fair share of pizza and mimosas (for me) we set out on our journey back home!
Luckily, the race festivities ended around 3pm, so the coast was clear. But, we noticed there were tons of people coming into the City with us! What’s going on, you ask? The 38th Annual Atlanta International Car Show!

One thing I love about living and working in Downtown Atlanta is the fact that the City is always hosting some of the city’s — and nation’s, most anticipated events!
This was just another day in the life of your favorite Belle — and Beau– in the city!
As I understood, New York is depicted on these photos. I have been dreaming about visiting this city since my childhood. I hope, that my dream will come true someday.
Yes, it will! Keep going!!
