5 Black-Owned Small Businesses I’m Supporting Right Now

Originally posted on April 20th, 2020, Atlanta, GA / Giselle Ave. Media. — Hi travelers, Happy 4/20! It’s Giselle here, writing to share some exciting NEW products with you! I’ve been hanging out on social media and I’m noticing a trend among users: How can I support a small business owner during COVID-19?! Many businesses are either thriving, barely surviving, or closed during this global lockdown, but online shopping is always an option.

As a small business owner, I value the importance of ownership while providing high-quality products and services to patrons. Working and living downtown during a global pandemic makes me realize how important it is to shop local, and invest in small businesses!  I’ve compiled a quick list of trendy products to add to your shopping cart while you’re browsing the web, looking for ways to support a small business!

Kandy Paint Nail Studio

Of all the essential businesses known to mankind– nail salons are NOT– just yet. Luckily, there are a ton of creative nail techs, bringing their talent to the digital world by creating custom press-on nail sets for anyone wanting the nail studio look– without the trip to the nail studio! Kandy Paint Nail Studio, located in my hometown of Huntsville, AL– is a small business I’m supporting right now! I’ve already ordered my set and I can’t wait to finally get these nails together. Kandy Paint Nail Studio is taking a short break, but be sure to visit the website to know when you can get yours ASAP!
