It’s Giselle, your go-to lifestyle blogger on Giselle Avenue, inspiring you to find your voice and be heard. WOW, I had a chance to attend an advanced screening of the highly-anticipated film, The Barbie Movie, and I must warn you: this is the BEST movie of the year.

So many of us were impressed, and even completely blown away by the marketing of this film, that started last year. Well, the day has finally arrived and the film truly lives up to the HYPE.

I do not endorse spoilers. So this post has NONE, but I do want to share a few BARBIE CODES for you to unlock as you prepare to go see The Barbie Movie for yourself!

Hi Barbie! Is the approved greeting for Barbie Land…. and in real life. Go ahead and address any Barbie (movie-goer) by saying “Hi Barbie!” All Barbies will respond accordingly.

This Movie Is For You

I was recently asked if this movie is for “kids.” My response: No, this movie is not made for kids. It s rated PG-13 and is for teenagers and above. This is not some silly kid movie, this one hits home, especially for those entering and pending their “adulting” era.

Do you remember dressing your Barbie’s growing up? Well now you ARE the Barbie! Wear what you want, have fun. I met Workout Barbie, Black Barbie, and Big & Beautiful Barbie, we all showed up! Dress in PINK, and enjoy the movie.
