Meet Mustafa Abubaker, Owner of Romusa Media, LLC

Giselle Avenue (GA): What’s the name of your company?

Mustafa Abubaker (MA): Romusa Media LLC, owned by Mustafa Abubaker

GA: What is your company’s story, how did you get started?

MA: Instead of chasing literary agents and publishing houses, I wanted to start my own publishing company in Romusa Media by filing it as an LLC with the State of Georgia so that I could release my books through it and own all the rights to my work.

Its first release was in December 2020 with my second novel, We Are Also Home.

GA: What inspired you to start your company?

MA: Russ and Bugus definitely inspired me to start my own company with how they built DIEMON from the ground up and became the most successful independent artists in the music industry.
