Happy Spring 2024! It’s finally here, a NEW SEASON is upon us! Wow, I must admit, I have a really good feeling about this particular spring. In my last blog post, we talked about the moon and the stars, but today, we are getting physical. Let’s chat about spring cleanining for the soul!
As we step into this vibrant New Year, it’s the perfect time to embark on a journey of renewal and rejuvenation. Spring is here, and what better way to welcome it than by embarking on some soul-nourishing spring cleaning for our mind, body, and spirit?

Here are five simple yet powerful things you can do right now to kickstart your spring cleaning and usher in a sense of well-being:
Declutter Your Physical Space
Start by decluttering your physical environment. Clear out any unnecessary items from your home, workspace, or even your digital devices.
This is a BIG ONE! Clean out your closet. I did this just yesterday, I imagined my closet was a high-end clothing boutique, and I removed clothes from the 2023 Fall/Winter collection, to create space for the 2024 Spring/Summer collection (that I’m going to be investing in from now until this summer!) You can also pull some of your favorite pieces from last summer, and bring them to the front of your closet.
Hoodie season is over, go ahead and tuck those away. Boots are about to be OUT, so store them in their boxes, or in your spare closet. If you don’t have a spare closet, then simply make room with what you have but put the winter/fall clothes out of your sight!
Creating a clean and organized space can have a profound impact on your mental clarity and overall sense of well-being.

Practice Mindfulness
Everyday, focus on your unique gifts and your most authentic self. In your imagination, focus on your authentic, joyful self-expression. Living in your purpose and enjoying life! Incorporate mindfulness into your daily routine by taking a few moments each day to pause, breathe, and tune into the present moment. Mindfulness also helps you manifest with ease!
Whether it’s through meditation, deep breathing exercises, or simply enjoying a mindful cup of tea, cultivating mindfulness can help reduce stress and enhance your overall sense of peace and balance. This is a great way to focus your energy for the day. Don’t start your day without checking-in with yourself. Concentrate your energy on you first, not the time clock at the workplace! Try it, it works!
Nourish Your Body
Spring is the perfect time to revitalize your diet and incorporate more fresh, whole foods into your meals. Load up on seasonal fruits and vegetables, take your vitamins, hydrate your body with plenty of water, and prioritize nourishing, nutrient-dense foods that fuel your body and support your overall health and well-being. Most of all, try your best to eat real food daily.
Move Your Body
Get moving and embrace the rejuvenating power of physical activity. Whether it’s going for a brisk walk in nature, practicing yoga, or dancing to your favorite tunes, find ways to move your body that bring you joy and vitality. Exercise not only strengthens your body but also boosts your mood and energy levels. Start where you are, a walk for 15 minutes outside can work wonders for your mental health! Go do it, now!
Cultivate Gratitude
Take time each day to cultivate gratitude and appreciation for the blessings in your life. Start a gratitude journal, make a list of things you’re thankful for, or simply take a moment to reflect on the abundance that surrounds you. Cultivating gratitude can shift your perspective and foster a greater sense of happiness, fulfillment, and inner peace.
Clear your mind and thoughts of things that have a negative emotional charge, and focus on what you are grateful for. Once you do that, you’ll be able to clear up some space for more gratitude and less negatively charged emotions.
Give From Your Heart, Regularly
Learn how to give from your heart, regularly. You don’t have to give something, in order to get money. You don’t want to give to get. And you certainly don’t want to solely focus on how you’re going to make more money. This is not the answer. Money manifests from within, according to your belief. If you believe the only way to get money is to sell yourself, or to sell stuff, then you will never have abundance in your life.
By incorporating these simple practices into your daily life, you can kickstart your spring cleaning journey and nurture your mind, body, and spirit for a brighter, more vibrant year ahead.
