How that Jeezy song go? Last time I checked I was the man on these streets! I’m trying to be the man!

I’m Real, I’m Real, I’m Really, Really Real!

Have you been noticing the same phrases  running down your timeline via Twitter? It’s in celebration of one of the hottest albums from hip-hop in a minute! The 24-year-old Compton native, Kendrick Lamar has definitely put on with the his debut album Good Kid, m.A.A.D. city! I admit, I saw everyone hyping it up on Twitter and I had to see for myself! Ummm… #VALID.

I have a strong appreciation for good music and I appreciate the story behind Kendrick’s album. It’s a play all the way through type of album, you know, the one’s you fall in love with at first listen. BIG UPS to Kendrick! He has only been out a year or two, and his buzz is definitely worthy. What I liked most is that he is unashamed to be a changed man of God. That’s the REAL beauty of his creative genius. With so much demonic, trash on the radio, it’s nice to hear a REAL breakthrough story of a man who encourages others to rise UP!

My advice? GO BUY THE ALBUM! Check out http://kendricklamar.org/ to keep up with his journey.
Some say he’s the “best rapper out right now,” do you agree?

Martin had a DREAM!!!
