Thank God It’s Friday! Friday’s are usually spent thinking about how awesome your weekend is about to be. But, social media has started trending, yet another awesome branding strategy. The genius marketing team for the highly anticipated film, Straight Outta Compton, is giving everyone a chance to rep their city, using the “Straight Outta Somewhere” campaign.

Straight Outta Compton movie is set to hit theatres on August 14. The group NWA emerges from the streets of Compton, California in the mid-1980s and revolutionizes Hip Hop culture with their music and tales about life in the hood, via Imbd.com.
