Hi Travelers! It’s me, Goddess Giselle, Founder and Creator of this wonderful world of imagination — Giselle Avenue, so excited to share some super cool energy with my readers!
With so much going on and down in the world right now, it’s such a breath of fresh air to share about what’s going up, up, and up (in my Cardi B voice)– because it’s up and it’s stuck!
So, let’s get right into it! Just last week, I minted my FIRST NFT and it is currently for sale on the Polygon Blockchain via my online store! That was a mouthful, but basically, I just created my first NFT and it is NOW for sale that means you can buy it and own it, and do whatever you want with it because you will own ALL the rights to the art and you can flex it on social media, print it out and hang it in your home as art, or sell merchandise such as t-shirts or backpacks and make a hefty profit and easy return on your investment! Those are my ideas, but the beauty of owning NFT’s is that you can use your OWN ideas and create whatever YOU decide!
As an artist, I love creating new things. I come up with ideas in my sleep sometimes, and I love talking to people about their ideas and how they can bring their own imagination to life. Creation is truly the essence of the world as we know it! With the slow but steady adoption of NFTs, we are seeing a shift in reality because NFTs create pathways for artists to finally get paid what they think they are worth.
This is the opposite of colonization, whereas, we wait for predominately white institutions and spaces to tell US what we are worth, we now have and own the right to name our price. Welcome to the Artist’s Revolution, and I am one of many bold artists leading the way!
BeYoSelf by Goddess Giselle – NFT Drop on the Polygon Blockchain
My inspiration behind my first project, titled, BeYoSelf by Goddess Giselle, was to encourage you to simply be yourself. I am wearing a custom African-print set, dark black shades, black open-toe sandals, an anklet, and carrying one of my favorite accessories, the Large Eggplant Shopping Bag by Telfar, a black-owned luxury brand, founded by a Queer Black Man and current fashion Icon, based out of NYC.
When I posed for this photo, I was staying at a boutique luxury hotel in Buckhead Atlanta, and it was the peak of summer. I was enjoying my Healed Girl Summer, I styled my own hair and my Husband kindly captured this moment. He is also a multi-dimensional artist and I was really feeling myself; mostly because I was being MYSELF. I used a neutral background to highlight the original image, and I love how everything came out.
This NFT was designed by me, and the photo was captured by my Husband, Awesomeisjayell (The Biggest Music Artist In The Metaverse).
This NFT is for the individual, the one of one.
The one that knows who they are, and is evolving daily by bringing their most authentic selves forward: Be YoSelf.
