Top Fall Runway Trends You Must Try Now

Fashionistas,

Is it just me or are you so glad that Fashion Month is over? Now, don’t get me wrong. I love witnessing models in breathtaking designs pound the runway just as much as the next fashion-obsessed gal, but the amazing collections are so enviable that they always leave me wanting more, even though they won’t be in stores for months. *Le sigh* But while the runway trends left a lasting impression for the upcoming season, there were a few looks that I just can’t wait to get my hands on – even if they won’t technically be in style until Fall.

From 70s-inspired ensembles to fringe accents, these stylish looks were almost too much to take in! Check below for a list of runway trends that you need to survive this Spring:

Fringe

I’ve always been a bit skeptical about wearing fringe because it makes such a bold statement. One wrong move and you’ll look like you’re rolling down the river with Tina Turner. But as we saw at Rebecca Minkoff and Alice + Olivia, fringe can add some serious attitude to your casual and evening looks.

Knits

Knitwear is super versatile and really helps transform your ensemble while adding a bit of flair. Whether you want to layer it with other wardrobe basics or center your entire outfit around the cozy fabric, knits are going to be huge in the coming months, as shown by Tracy Reese and Ralph Lauren.

Sleeveless Coats

I love any piece that helps me transition between seasons, and that’s exactly what a sleeveless coat does. It adds that extra layer, but doesn’t feel as bulky as a regular coat. There are endless possibilities to style this minimalist piece and I’m sure it will become one of my wardrobe favorites!

Over-the-Knee Boots

I don’t think I have to persuade anyone to rock a pair of over-the-knee boots. I admittedly have a deep love affair with the style and based on the looks at Rodarte and BCBG, my passion will only intensify. You can pair them with jeans, a skirt, or a dress and really make a statement in an eye-catching way.
