3 Blogger Looks You Need to Revamp Your Fall Wardrobe

Fashionistas,

Cold weather aside, I just love dressing for fall. Between the oversized coats and the under layers to the chic headpieces and stylish footwear, I literally get my life! And as much as I can’t wait to try the season’s latest trends on for size, I feel like you have to work that much harder to put together a look that will let your true style and personality shine through while bundling up. In the summertime, you can throw on a pair of short shorts with a statement tee or a maxi dress with some cute heels and accessories and BAM! You’re street style-ready, no matter the occasion. But in the fall, it’s not that simple.

You have to take into consideration comfort while you battle lower temps throughout the day, versatility to take you from day events to nighttime festivities effortlessly without freezing your tail off and, of course, you still want to be turn heads in the process. Because your wardrobe can be super tricky to style as the weather changes, sometimes you need a little help along the way. Look no further! Three of my favorite bloggers have stepped out looking nothing short of runway flawless and appropriate for the season, proving it is not impossible.

1.  A Textured ‘Fit

Fall is definitely all about textures. Rocking thicker fabrics is a surefire way to get more wear out of a few summer pieces, like an off-the-shoulder, knee-length dress. And it’s a great way to inject a fun element into your wardrobe. Fisayo Longe pulled this grey textured look off perfectly with oxblood accessories (another huge trend for fall).

2. Mixed Prints

One of my favorite fall looks to experiment with is mixed prints. A bit intimidating at first, mixed prints are just the pick-me-up needed to combat those gloomy days. For a laid-back vibe, style your mixed separates with a pair of sneakers like Ada. Just swap those out for a pair of eye-catching flats or thick block heels to make a bold night look without sacrificing comfort.

3. All Black Everything

Don’t let anybody fool you. Black is the new black, okay? This blank canvas that will never go out of style is perfect for accessorizing. Have fun incorporating a statement necklace, a bold clutch or a pop of lip like Sunita V, for example.
