It’s been almost 2 months since #404Day in the A, and honestly– I still found time to blog about this one! Yes, it was THAT important.
The 4th day of April has been dubbed “#404Day” by the City of Atlanta, in partnership with AT&T. This past April, AT&T hosted Atlanta’s tastemakers to a complimentary VIP experience to celebrate the new home for the American Dream: ATLANTA, GA.
Our team here on Giselle Ave. was invited to celebrate this newly minted holiday, and I must say: the event was wayyyyy more than I expected!
So, what did you miss?
Panel Discussing Everything Atlanta
There was an intimate live panel moderated by Atlanta-native, Killer Mike featuring a roster of influential names making waves in the music, politics and tech scenes here in ATL. The panelists included Atlanta-naitve Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Mayor of Atlanta, GA; Coach K, Co-Founder of Quality Control or QC the Label– an Atlanta-based record label boasting many popular acts including The Migos, Lil Baby, and City Girls; Kei Henderson, manager of Atlanta-ish rapper, 21 Savage; and Paul Judge, tech entrepreneur, investor, and Co-Founder of Atlanta’s Tech Square Labs.
Food Serving Everything Atlanta
In addition to wine, and champagne– beer was provided by Sweet Water Brew, a brewery born right here in Atlanta. What’s an Atlanta event without chicken wings? Lemon pepper wet, at that– provided by an Atlanta favorite, J.R. Crickets; and waffles by …… you guessed it: Waffle House! Honestly, this was the most exciting part of the event curation. Chicken wings and waffles from Waffle House? #SoAtlanta
Live Music Performing Everything Atlanta
We all know Atlanta continues to lead the way in the music industry– especially hip-hop. But the live performances were over-the-top! I’m talking about live music performances from Atlanta-natives (as in, they are all originally from Atlanta) including: Gunna, Chloe & Halle, and 2 Chainz!
Did I mention the entire event was hosted and DJ’d by the originator of the term, Welcome to Atlanta— Jermaine Dupri? Oh, and if that wasn’t enough to keep you in the spirit of Atlanta, there was an HBCU-inspired band performing LIVE, right in the middle of the event! #DRUMLINEAPPRECIATION
Kudos to all who made this event possible, I can’t wait until next year’s #404Day. Maybe our client, Atlanta-native, Awesomeisjayell will be invited to perform live— I mean, I think it’s a good look.

Powered by AT&T, #404Day is yet another reason why we #ChooseATL to grow our company into the next (or first) multi-million dollar #Millennial led #Minority led Brand, Media, & Marketing Agency POWERHOUSE!
Say less.
