Now that Spring is finally here, I can’t stop obsessing over ways to mix up my wardrobe and inject a little life into my everyday look. After all, Spring is about fresh beginnings so what better way to channel the spirit of the season than with a new statement piece. And the one piece I’ve been eyeing all winter long? The shift dress.
I just love a good shift dress. The style is super versatile and can take you from day to night. Just add a few stand-out accessories to dress it up or down. Its uncomplicated straight lines are effortlessly flattering and complement just about any body type. A major plus is that you can throw on a belt to add dimension and define your waist or get wear out of the dress even when it is still cold outside – just layer it over a chic button-down or opaque tights.
