New Outkast Mural in East Atlanta

Atlanta, GA., October 21st, 2019 / Giselle Ave. Media — If you’re from the South, you’re probably a huge Outkast fan. If you’re into good music, you’re probably a huge Outkast fan. If you like good music, you’re probably a huge Outkast fan. If you’ve ever heard any Outkast music, you’re probably a huge Outkast fan. This past weekend, Outkast fans  united as one after learning of the new Outkast mural, located in Little Five Points Atlanta!

As a curious Belle in the City, I couldn’t help but make it my mission to locate this mural merely a day after it’s unveiling! I was leaving Yoga class on my way back to our loft, located in Downtown Atlanta, and I decided to make a quick detour in Little Five Points. See, this is the beauty of living in the heart of the city, also known as the Culture Capital! Atlanta is filled with neighborhoods that give you a sense of pride to call yourself a resident to ATL- JAWJUH. Little Five Points and Downtown Atlanta are two of a kind, filled with creative artists, committed to creating their dream lives in the City of Dreams.

I took the photo pictured below a few years ago at The Millennials Brunch at General Assembly Atlanta. Frankly, this mural alone was captivating enough to still make me smile until this day. Now picture this same energy, but on a HUGE wall, in the heart of the city. #SoAtlanta

The art. The detail. The soul. The energy. The Southernplayalisticcadillacmuzik that suddenly starts playing inside of my head. This mural is BREATHTAKING! I sincerely shed a tear, just from experiencing this art in real life. I couldn’t get over how detailed this mural is. It’s chilling.
