What would Jet Magazine look like….. today? As a pioneer of cataloging the African-American experience, I was delighted to attend the Jet Magazine Re-Imagined Art Show in Atlanta.
Checkout our latest views on Giselle Ave. from the Jet Magazine Re-Imagined Art Show, featuring Graphic Designer Shaheed Rucker. The art show took place at Buckhead Art & Company, located in the Buckhead Shoppes. Thank you to our film partner, Yell-Air Films, for capturing this amazing event.
As seen on the Event Website:
Jet Magazine Reimagined will use 1950’s and 60’s Jet magazine cover art as a resource and inspiration for the exhibition. Graphic artist Shaheed Rucker will redesign the vintage JET magazine covers in a variety of ways. The experience will take you on a journey through the magazine and its content.
