9 Celebrity Wedding Dresses We’re Still Swooning Over

Fashionistas,

If the bevy of wedding invitations I’ve received in the mail are any indication, wedding season is in full force! I love a good wedding. Dancing all night, the drinks, the food. But nothing really compares to the big dress reveal. There’s just something so special about seeing a bride walk down the aisle in a number that fits her unique personal style and one that, she hopes, will stand the test of time and turn heads for years to come.

This certainly is the case for the following celebs, whose dresses will be talked about forever. Get inspired by my picks for the most sensational wedding gowns: from Gwen Stefani to Kelis.

Gwen Stefani

Everyone’s favorite rockstar, Gwen Stefani married Gavin Rosdale in 2002 in a white-to-pink ombre Christian Dior gown with a tulle train. I’m obsessed with any wedding look that’s more nontraditional in nature, so this is a total win in my book.

Solange Knowles

Solange Knowles made a case for the cape silhouette at her 2014 wedding to Alan Ferguson sporting a Humberto Leon for Kenzo creation. Her natural hair and gold superwoman inspired cuffs took me over the edge!

Diana, Princess of Wales

It was the wedding dress seen around the world. In an elaborate affair, Princess Diana married Charles, Prince of Wales, in an ivory taffeta and chiffon David and Elizabeth Emanuel gown. Its 25-foot train was sculpted after my own heart.

Chrissy Teigen

The bigger, the better. And Chrissy Teigen certainly got the memo with her larger than life Vera Wang gown. The strapless bodice and cut-out detail added a sexy flare while the tulle skirt would have made even Cinderella jealous.

Grace Kelly

Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956 wearing a long-sleeved lace, silk taffeta and tulle gown. One of my favorite wedding gowns ever, the silhouette is absolutely unforgettable. The way it cinches in at the waist and flows into a wide skirt? Beautiful.

Kelis

In a wedding fit for hip hop royalty, Kelis married rapper Nas in an unconventional green princess ballgown. The sweetheart neckline and tulle skirt were complemented by gold embroidery.

Anne Hathaway

For her 2012 wedding to Adam Shulman, Anne Hathaway opted to make a statement in an elaborate Valentino tulle dress. Everything from the gorgeous headpiece to the pink touches on the bottom to the off-the-shoulder detail was stunning.

Nicky Hilton

Nicky Hilton wed James Rothschild in 2015 in a long-sleeved lace Maison Valentino gown. It was truly a gown fit for an heiress.

Olivia Palermo

Street-style queen Olivia Palermo was anything but traditional in her wedding look, which consisted of an ivory cashmere sweater and embroidered tulle skirt. Who would have thought these separates would make such a chic pairing?
