More Love.

In my last post, I led with how annoying it is to hear non-black women tell black women, how to be black women. This post was in response to all of the ongoing toxic turmoil I’ve been exposed to in the metaverse.

But, after careful review, I now realize that this epidemic in the black community, of spewing hatred towards the opposite sex goes far beyond a mere “this is how you should act.” This thing has depth.

And it dates back to the times where black men couldn’t protect black women from the wicked, inorganic ones that kept us in shackles and in chains, and paid us nothing to work tirelessly, for generations to build this entire nation up from the ground.

We have been enslaved not only physically, but mentally, and we have not yet realized our own true power. You see, our hatred and anger is misdirected. Instead of being mad at one another, we should really be mad at this tired ass system! Throw the whole system away. A system that has only given us poverty, oppression, fatherlessness, mental illness, physical illness, malnutrition, poor education, and heartache that we have been “normalizing,” for the past 400 years PLUS! This land has gotten away with murder and blatant crimes against humanity, and no one is even bold enough to say that out loud!

We have been held captive in a land that doesn’t even recognize us a first-class citizens, and we are taking it out on one another.

They laugh, knowing we will never wake up and realize colonialism is the true villain, and it’s time for us to finally take back what they have stolen from us.

Did you know? The United States was found guilty of five counts of genocide against black, brown, and Indigenous people.

Found guilty of:

Police killings,

Mass incarceration,

Political prisoners and prisoners of war,

Environmental racism,

and Public health inequities.

You can read more about this here.

Yet, still we rise. We are a people known for overcoming tribulations and we are now entering a time where we can finally rejoice in knowing that our heart’s desires will soon be fulfilled.

This rage is ancestral. This war is indefinite. And now, Earth is going back to black.

Healing Is The Only Answer

Healing through radical self-love is the only answer.

We’ve been hoodwinked into thinking more money, more education, more trips, more luxury, more tv shows about four black women that are friends, but no, that is NOT the answer.

We need mass healing, through radical self-love.

We need to start looking in the mirror and realizing our own self-worth, without the help of fake images created to keep us under control.

Love is all we need, to make everything complete, all we need is L-O-V-E!

MJB

Love will carry us much further than any temporary projection of who we are as a people.

I would go on and on, but I’m gonna just stop right here because I can. (LOL)
