Today, I’m saying goodbye to my roaring 20s and hello to a new phase in life: Chapter 30. For the record, my thirty is not dirty. It is, however, unapologetic, feminine, and fabulous. 

Happy Birthday to Meeeeee!

Twenty-fine was a game-changer. I faced my fears and pushed through what I consider to be the most difficult growing pains I’ve ever experienced— in life. I learned valuable lessons on how to stay true to myself and I’d like to share some of these with you.

May these notes impart a seed of love & inspiration in your life.

Chapter 30: Notes

A note to myself,

I’m not flawless, and that’s okay.

Life is not all butterflies and rainbows. Shit gets real, but that’s when your character develops the most. Embrace the growing pains, even the ones that hurt really bad.

I am a feminine goddess, by definition.

God is ordering my steps, I cannot fail.

Health is forever wealth. Eat real food and exercise often.

They don’t have the answers to your life, instead, listen to the voice within. 

I am five months, weave-free and that’s hella important to me.

I’m surrounded by art, love, creativity, and positive energy.

A note on creating my dream life,

I’m a (future) founder of a multi-million dollar communication firm.

I retired from Corporate America at 29 and joined the small business revolution, full-time.

I’ve earned the education. I have the work experience. I’ve read the self-help books. I’ve listened to the podcasts. I’m no longer living in theory: it’s go time.

No one knows what they’re doing, but some of us are bold enough to try anyway.

If you don’t like something about your career, change it.

If you want to get more, give more and give freely. Keep an abundant mentality.

Your story will free somebody, so share it with the universe.

A note on love,

God is love.

Love, is an inside job.

Love is a high vibrational energy. I am high energy, I am love.

I’m in love, and it’s real.

I am free to be myself.

Love is worth fighting for– don’t cop out, don’t quit.

Every relationship is different, there is no right way to do it.

Law of attraction is real.

A note on purpose,

Your life has purpose.

Everyone has dreams and dreams come true.

Time is not on your side, so stop waiting and start doing.

Your purpose is something that comes naturally, don’t force it.

Invest in yourself, your life depends on it.

Life is a never-ending climb, keep growing, going, and glowing.

Don’t live in the grey– it’s a dangerous space to operate. Keep it black or white, yes means yes, no means no.
